Steppe raises grain harvest by 13% to 1.1 mln tns in 2022

MOSCOW, Aug 10 (PRIME) -- Russian agricultural holding Steppe, a subsidiary of multi-industry holding Sistema, raised its gross grain harvest by 13% on the year to a record of 1.1 million tonnes in 2022, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

The company managed to achieve the result thanks to contemporary agricultural technologies, including the no-till water-saving technology. CEO Andrei Neduzhko said as quoted by the company that all the harvested wheat is of food grade, and its quality allows the company to export it.
